Below is a synopsis of where Mr. Kind stands on various issues as published by the non-partisan Project Vote Smart: 

Abortion Issues

NARL Pro-Choice America gave Representative Kind a grade of 100 percent. Mr. Kind was given a score of 0 percent by the National Right to Life Committee.

 Budget, Spending and Taxation

Freedom Works and the National Taxpayers Union both gave Representative Kind a score of 17 percent. Americans for Tax Reform gave him a score of 23 percent. The lower the number, the more he promotes the spending of our tax dollars. 

Civil Liberties and Civil Rights

Americans for the Separation of Church and State and the ACLU gave Representative Kind a score of 100 percent. As an example for what they stand for, the ACLU does not want your children to "celebrate" Christmas in public schools (not very child friendly is it?). However, they do favor disrupting class time for a "day of silence" that promotes the "gay rights" lifestyle. Americans for the Separation of Church and State and the ACLU want a sanitized, secular and morally relativistic world view taught to our children instead of the traditional values we hold. They claim they are only promoting "tolerance" and "inclusion" yet they discriminate against our children because of our Christian faith. 

English as the Official Language

The organization U.S. English gave Representative Kind a grade of F. This is a group promoting English as the official language of the United States. Mr. Kind is not in favor of having English as the official language of the USA. 

American Business

Americans for Prosperity gave Representative Kind a grade of 0 percent. The Club for Growth gave a score of 2 percent. We need a pro-business environment for job creation. 

Education

The very liberal National Education Association (NEA) gave Representative Kind a grade of A.

Why is this bad?

For the most part, teachers unions are looking out for the interests of the teacher's agendas and not those of the students, our children. The NEA does not hold the traditional American values that we do.

For instance, the NEA is sending to all 16,000 American school districts booklets titled "Just the Facts about Sexual Orientation and Youth." This book promotes that the homosexual lifestyle is a "normal expression of human sexuality." As reported at lifesitenews "in reality they," the NEA, "promote a particular worldview" and present students with a set of "truth-claims that students are expected to adopt" and insist on conformity to their ideals.

"What is so scary and dogmatic about this report is that it communicates that religious based viewpoints are harmful and even dangerous"(citizenlink).

You need to educate yourself on what is going on in our government schools because this is only one example of how real discrimination and intolerance against our traditional values are being promoted with your tax dollars! This is news you will not find on CNN.

Family and Children Issues

The Family Research Council gave Representative Kind a grade of 6 percent. The American Family Association gave Mr. Kind a grade of 0 percent.

Immigration

Representative Kind supported the interests of English First 0 percent. He supported the American Immigration Lawyers Association 0 percent of the time. He supported the interests of Americans for Better Immigration with a score of 33 percent. He supported the interests of Americans for Immigration Control 0 percent. Mr. Kind supported the interests of Iranian American Political Action Committee 100 percent of the time. No wonder our border is not secured yet!

Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity

Mr. Kind has supported the interests of PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) 100 percent of the time. This dovetails very neatly with his approval rating of 100 percent from the NEA as shown above.

Are these the values you want your Congressional Representative to hold?
